Image
IKKO Audio (IKKO Technology Co. Limited) is a relatively new Chinese brand that designs & develops Hi-Fi components like In-Ear Monitors, DAC/AMP. The IKKO Zerda ITM03 is a DAC/AMP Dongle with a pretty small form factor. For review I have received the USB-C variant of the dongle, but it is also available with Lightning connector. The body is made up of aluminium alloy sandblasted oxidized shell with monster OCC Silver-Plated silicone fully wrapped cable and weighs only 12 grams. Overall, it feels like a rugged product to hold. It offers 3.5mm audio as well as optical out. The IKKO Zerda ITM03 features the CS43198 Chip featuring high impedance of 600 Ω, a 130 dBA dynamic range, a THD+N rating of -115 dB, and inter channel isolation of >110 dB and support sampling rates upto 384kHz and Native DSD x128. Tipsy Blue Aurora : The Velvety Night

Image
Blue Aurora is the entry level IEM from Tipsy, a Chinese company created in 2016. Blue Aurora is Tipsy's least expensive IEM. At a first glance, Blue Aurora looks like a beautiful IEM with charismatic looks, feel and immaculate design. The faceplate is of sparkling bluish-black colour with resin coating that gives it a silky appearance. It has the brand name Tipsy written over it in silver. The curvature and shape are smooth and provide a comfortable fit. It has a 2-pin connector with 4-Core SPC stock cable that's standard for an IEM of this range now a days. It also comes with a nice old-school faux leather pouch. Disclaimer: I have received Tipsy Blue Aurora as part of review circle sent from the brand itself in exchange of honest reviews. All impressions of sound are subjective to my own listening and my sources and is based on my experience with IEMs of similar hardware configurations and price range. Sources: For this review the unit has been paired to Cayin N5ii and LG V

Tipsy Dunmer: A Fun Loving Dark Elf

Image
Dunmer is the new product from Tipsy, a Chinese company created in 2016. Dunmer is Tipsy's entry in Budget IEMs arena where it will face fierce competition with a variety of dual and Single driver earpieces. At a first glance, Dunmer looks like a decent IEM with charismatic looks, feel and beautiful design. The faceplate is of shiny black-grayish colour with resin coating that gives it a silky appearance. It has the brand-name Tipsy written over it in silver with a rather horror-show kind of font and reminds of the Dunmer (Dark Elves) in The Elder Scrolls. It is equipped with a 9.2mm graphene diaphragm double dynamic magnetic circuit /double cavity patented structure. The curvature and shape are smooth and provide a comfortable fit. It has a 2-pin connector with 8-Core SPC stock cable that's standard for an IEM of this range now a days. It also comes with a nice old-school faux leather pouch. Disclaimer: I have received Tipsy Dunmer as part of review circle sent from the brand

Tin Audio P2- The Hungry Beast

Image
After P1, Tin Hifi reimagined its planar design and hit the market with a much-anticipated piece of wonder P2. P2 has a unique design and sound signature. Earphones body is metallic, unpolished but smooth with a rich appearance. Its premium looking build design is as gorgeous looking as its comfortable on ears. Faceplate is raised and appears to have a sandpaper texture, but this in-fact looks like a porous surface, but the IEM is purely closed back. Its smooth triangular design and silver surface is stunning and very comfortable to wear. IEMs are paired with 2.5mm balanced cable with two adapters 3.5mm and 4.4mm. This gives us a lot of flexibility in choosing the sources. A fancy blue leather pouch accompanies IEM and cable set. This pouch is as sturdy as it is good looking. In terms of look and feel, P2 is premium earphone and has set new standards in the planar market. Package Contents: · One pair of Tin P2 IEMs. · 6N OCC 2.5-millimetre balanced cable. · 2.5m
